I currently live in Kits so we're gonna talk about 5 things you should do/see in Kitsilano, Vancouver:
1. Beach
Okay, so this is a little bit cheeky but you can't talk about Kits and not talk about the beach. It is literally the reason I moved to this place. But the main Kits beach is not the only beach that is there. There is actually a hidden beach just near it. To find out how to get there, watch the video above! I swear it's worth the visit!
2. Kitsilano Pool
So talking about the beach, right next to the beach, there is a pool. It's Kitsilano pool (I mean they didn't over complicate things with the name) but it is a really beautiful pool to go and swim if you don't want to swim in the sea. It is the longest pool in Canada it's 130 meters and it just has the best views.
3. Free Sports Courts
There's so many sports courts around Kits. Around the beach they have:
- tennis
- volleyball
- basketball
There are always people playing and they are all generally really nice, so even if you are alone, they will make room for you to play with them. Although definitely don't assume this during COVID times.
4. Tacos
Lucky Taco is so good, it's really close to the beach, maybe about five minute walk. It has really cute decor and their tacos are amazing. They have this really cute patio, which they've put partitions between the tables. They don't have too many options for tacos but the ones that they do have are SO good.

5. Glitch
The last thing that I want to tell you guys about is an old school arcade style bar. It's amazing it's called Glitch, it's got really old-school games like ski ball, basketball rings and air hockey. It literally takes you back to the 90s. They have little booths where you can play any Nintendo 64 game, like Mario Kart. They have Happy Hour between 3-6 pm.
They also have this amazing wallpaper on the Ladies restroom on Ryan Reynolds!! I'm a big fan of it.
