3 Best Lunch Places in Whistler Village

As many of you know, I love eating out. Even in Whistler (the most expensive place in the world) there were a few good lunch places that were worth the splurge:

1. Gone Eatery

This cute cafe if hidden behind a book shop right next to 'The Grocery Store' in the middle of Whistler Village. It has a great variety of food with vegan, gluten free and nut free options, so there is something for everyone! They're menu ranges from Pad Thai to BLT. It is a locally owned eatery with the nicest staff!

Favourite Food: By far their Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup. It is perfect. Lots of beautifully melted cheese on the inside and layer of crispy grilled cheese on the outside with a hearty homemade tomato soup. It is not for the faint hearted, but it is perfect as a hangover cure.

2. Ingrids

This cafe is located in the middle of the village, opposite Araxi. I went there on most of my lunch breaks, without fail. It is quite a small place with only 3 or 4 tables inside and Vegan friendly. They mainly do burgers and sandwiches, you always get a choice of bread and can add and take off fillings as you want, as they are not already prepared. It's like a healthier version of subway.

Favourite Food: I'm pretty sure it was called 'The Everything Wrap'. It literally had every kind of vegetable in and whatever meat you wanted in there. It was awesome. This is not my picture of it but it is a picture of it...

3. Hot Buns Bakery

Situated just behind Pangea Pod Hotel, this underrate lunch place is sat quietly. They serve crepes, sandwiches and paninis. The theme inside the cafe is very retro. I also really love their coffee. They don't just do great savoury food but also tasty desert crepes and waffles.

Favourite Food: Mediterranean Savoury Crepe. A great mix of ingredients, I always add a bit of Hot Sauce for more flavour!

Stay Safe out there!

Love From,

Kesvi
